I saw on pillowfort that someone posted a really nice set of prompts for developing your fan apprentice, and I wanted to share them here because I thought they'd be a nice way to start the community! Make your own post or reply in the comments, it's up to you! Although, I think maybe new posts because of the length? I don't know, I'm new here still.

The OP called it a blanket box because it's a posting prompt for pillowfort, and you use blankets to build a pillowfort, I believe. I've preserved their language. Source is here. Reposted with permission.

What's a Blanket Box?

A blanket box is a collection of ideas, prompts, and questions to help you build your fort! They all have their own theme, and this one is all about your fan apprentice!! To reply, make your own post/set of posts. Other blanket boxes can be found here.

The Rules

• There's no rules.
• Skip prompts, do prompts 'out of order', bend them, merge them together, do whatever you like.
• Put them in separate posts, put them in the same post, do one a day, a week, once in a blue moon.
• Optional: link to this post so others can get this blanket box too.

The Blankets

1. What's their aura like? What things bring them to mind? What's their stance, their attitude like? What's their aesthetic?
2. What outward impression do they give? What are the first things other people notice about them?
3. What's their name? Star sign? Favourite flower? Favourite food? What do they look like? How do they usually dress?
4. How do they feel about the main 6 (Asra, Nadia, Julian, etc)? About their memories? About choices they've made or things they've said?
5. What route(s) did they take? What would their route look like? What 'flavours' would their route have? What choices could you make?
6. Do they/did they have a familiar? Any kinds of magic they're more/less attuned to? What's their fursona??
7. What do they feel makes them them? What can't they live without? What would they do to keep it? What lines wouldn't they cross?
8. What's their history? Where/how did they grow up? What was their family like? What do you think happened with them before/during the plague?
9. What will they do after the story ends? What do they want to do? What are their hopes? How do you think/imagine it will end for them?
